oil sketch 1 and 2, 6x9

A couple of quick studies done on consecutive nights. Of course when you do 2 of anything there will be comparisons. Which one do you prefer? And why?

Sorry for the long delay, been messing with oil paints trying to get them to work. I've been painting en plein air and really enjoy it! I am doing many small studies (6x9") and will post any interesting ones. This one is not plein air, but any studio work I get in couldn't hurt! This is on that Canva-Paper by Canson. I love it.
